The U.S. Department of Energy's Industrial Technologies Program, Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), the American Public Power Association (APPA), and APPA’s Demonstration of Energy Efficient Development (DEED) are pleased to present the Natural Gas Utilities Efficiency Programs Webinar for utilities serving industrial customers.
The webinar’s guest presenters will provide a variety of perspectives on natural gas efficiency programs and best practices, as well as insight on natural gas decoupling regulation.
Presentations and presenters include:
- Southern California Gas, Industrial Market Segment Supervisor, Christopher Goff, will discuss natural gas energy efficiency programs, goals and achievements from a California utility perspective.
- National Grid, Manager of Program Implementation, Mark Dipetrillo, will discuss energy efficiency initiatives designed for industrial natural gas customers in the utility’s Rhode Island service area.
- Oregon Public Utilities Commissioner, Susan Ackerman, will discuss the successes and challenges of natural gas decoupling mechanisms in the state of Oregon.
- The Regulatory Assistance Project, Senior Advisor, Jim Lazar, will discuss the barriers and skepticism for utility energy efficiency programs.
