William G. Jackson Jr. (Bill) has over 34 years of experience in the energy industry spanning assignments ranging from Cleveland, Ohio to Las Vegas, Nevada to Palo Alto, California to Long Island, New York and now to Portland, Oregon. Bill is currently manages Emerging Technologies at Tennessee Valley Authority. Bill leads the evaluation of innovative and market transforming technology for energy efficiency and demand response. Bill‘s expertise encompasses Strategic Management, DSM Program Development and Management, Product Life Cycle Management, Communication Strategies, Demand Response programs and Key Account Management.
One differentiating factor in Bill’s background is an understanding of the unique characteristics of and issues facing investor-owned and public power utilities. Bill has held senior management positions in both environments and uses the lessons learned to help his utility clients meet the challenges facing today’s utilities.
Bill also has significant expertise in the area of Renewable Energy having been awarded the Emerald Award from the Consortium for Solar Technologies and Renewable Resources in Nevada as well as receiving Nevada State Senatorial and Congressional Recognition for his efforts in the expanding area of alternative energy.
Bill his wife Debra, and their two French Brittany pups reside in Nashville, TN.
