EIA's Annual Energy Outlook is a resource you can use to find forecasts of future energy consumption. It assesses recent trends in energy use and makes predictions for the residential, commercial and industrial sectors through 2030. The report also speculates about the impact of tax credits for energy efficient equipment, CAFE standards and other market forces. Later in the year, EIA released a supplemental report that examines the potential effects of the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (ARRA).
