Energy Efficiency Resource Central

The American Public Power Association (APPA) has developed Energy Efficiency Resource Central, to offer a wide variety of education, policy and advocacy resources and services to help utilities promote energy efficiency. State and regional associations and joint action agencies can join to access resources, archived webinars and presentations, and a database of current public power utility energy efficiency programs and staff contacts. The goals of this partnership between APPA and state and regional associations and joint action agencies are to:

  • Help partnering organizations assist their members in implementing energy efficiency programs
  • Share and publicize the available resources from all parties with public power utilities, state and regional associations, and joint action agencies
  • Capture and accumulate information on regional and national energy efficiency efforts and savings to demonstrate public power’s commitment to energy efficiency, actual energy efficiency activities, and the benefit of local control
